[SMM concern] Indonesia Weda Bay Project 2 42000kVA Nickel Iron Ore heating Furnace starts drying

SMM2 24: according to the latest SMM research, Indonesia Weda bay Industrial Park last week 2 42000kVA nickel pig iron RKEF furnace has begun to try oven, the current progress is still to be tracked, if the situation is expected to produce iron in March.

The general plan of the Weda Bay Industrial Park is to build 12 nickel ore heating furnaces. The two ore heating furnaces are the earliest production line of the Weda Bay Industrial Park. It is estimated that after the production is stable, the new monthly output of the two will be about 1800 nickel tons.

According to SMM, Indonesia produced 40400 nickel tons of nickel pig iron in January 2020, an increase of 2.91 percent over the previous month and 54.4 percent year on year. From January to December 2019, Indonesia's nickel pig iron production totaled 374000 nickel tons, 54.9 percent compared with the same period last year.
